Biotechnology is a 4 year full-time undergraduate course that brings together Biology and Technology, introducing to candidates its various application in varied sectors. B.sc (Hons.) Biotechnology is a comprehensive study in the field of science which combines together the study of Biology and Technology. Candidates are given a broader and deeper understanding of the concepts related to chemistry, cell biology, biology and computer sciences.
Eligibility Criteria
12th passed with Science in relevant stream with 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%)
Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Lateral Entry
Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
