36 MonthsBachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by Rama University, Kanpur.
The Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) enables the students to choose a career from various stages of media production. The curriculum emphasizes on the social and cultural impact of various media forms and examines the technologies, practices & policies that drive modern media communications. During the course tenure, students also learn the applied skills such as image building, different styles of writing, editing and working with layout software and audio-video editing techniques.
Total duration of the B.J.M.C. Course shall be 3 years, each year comprising of two semesters. Each semester shall normally have teaching for the 90 working days or as prescribed by UGC from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have passed the 10+2 Passed in any stream with 50% for all categories.
Admission Details
To seek admission at Rama University, students must secure a minimum eligible score in Class XII (CBSE/ISC/State Board). The university's final selection process is based on an entrance test, counseling, and an interview.
