Sardar Bhagwan Singh University offers scholarships as financial aid for the benefit of the students. SBS Dehradun scholarships come in the form of merit-based scholarships, reservations for Sikh Minority Students, PG scholarships for Ex-Students and Scholarships for students in the sports quota. Eligible candidates can avail of any one of the SBS scholarships subject to the rules and regulations. SBS Dehradun does not require students to return the scholarship money, as it is offered with the purpose of helping students further their education. SBS Dehradun Scholarship eligibility criteria are subject to renewal and modification on a year-to-year basis. Rules for availing of SBS Dehradun Scholarships

• Candidates can only apply for one scholarship. 

• If candidates are eligible for more than one scholarship, they may choose the higher of the two options in the year of admission. 

• Students can also avail of scholarships provided by their respective state governments or the central government. 

• Every year, the continuation of a student’s scholarship is subject to being reviewed by a committee appointed by the Vice Chancellor and led by the Dean of Academics. 

• Scholarship Applicants must submit their mark sheets, Character certificates and other documents for verification, which will be returned upon inspection.
