Sardar Bhagwan Singh University offers scholarships as financial aid for the benefit of the students. SBS Dehradun scholarships come in the form of merit-based scholarships, reservations for Sikh Minority Students, PG scholarships for Ex-Students and Scholarships for students in the sports quota. Eligible candidates can avail of any one of the SBS scholarships subject to the rules and regulations. SBS Dehradun does not require students to return the scholarship money, as it is offered with the purpose of helping students further their education. SBS Dehradun Scholarship eligibility criteria are subject to renewal and modification on a year-to-year basis. Candidates are advised to look into the SBS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria before applying.

Merit-Based Scholarship | Candidates must have scored 65% above in their 10+2 examinations to avail of a Rs 2500 scholarship every semester. Students who scored 75% above can avail a scholarship of Rs 5000 every semester. |
Reservation for Sikh Minority students | To avail of one of the 5% seats reserved for Sikh Minority students, candidates must submit an affidavit as per specimen provided by the university and must be endorsed by the local Gurudwara Management Committee |
Ex-students Scholarship | Candidates must have completed their UG course in SBS Dehradun and must have secured at least 60% in the qualifying exams for PG courses. |
Sports quota (For Sikh Minority and General) | Candidates can avail of a scholarship of 25% to 100% based on merit in sports (Football, Cricket, Basketball and Table tennis) |
Rules for availing of SBS Dehradun Scholarships
Candidates can only apply for one scholarship.
If candidates are eligible for more than one scholarship, they may choose the higher of the two options in the year of admission.
Students can also avail of scholarships provided by their respective state governments or the central government.
Every year, the continuation of a student’s scholarship is subject to being reviewed by a committee appointed by the Vice Chancellor and led by the Dean of Academics.
Scholarship Applicants must submit their mark sheets, Character certificates and other documents for verification, which will be returned upon inspection.
Candidates are encouraged to check the eligibility criteria for each of their selected scholarships.

Teaching is good because all experienced teacher are here and update curriculum and also help for the jobs interview and help also for the projects almost PhD professor are here they also help for the students

Infrastructure is almost average but facilities is good and almost equipment is working but some is old equipment.classtoom is good and update books are available In library but wifi is not available is our campus
Placements
Placement of the college average because only 20% placement got the placed but in my department approx 50% students got placed but less in other departments highest package is very low approx 4LpA low package is 2.5 lpa .

Teaching staff for pharmacology and also for other department are great and quality of teaching is good. Also help to develop the character of students by organizing the national workshops, seminars and conferences that will really helpfull for the job interviews
College Infra
Good infrastructure with all necessary facilities and equipment. Also have very nice environment and full of greenery. Classrooms and labs are little bit old but overall are good, library is also there
Placements
Placements are not very good only a few companies visits the college. Not very helpfull for all students for getting the placements. So I'm not very much satisfied with the college placement cell work.

I'm studying M.pharm because I have very much interest in research. All teachers are highly qualified and notes are provided on daily basis Yes curriculum activity is organised in the college and different activities like competitions

Yes my college have all the facilities related to lab but the infrastructure is old need to be renewed classroom have boards, all the books are available in the lab, all sports played in the college food are hygienic
Placements
Very bad placement system company is not visited in the cllg and there is no proper placement committee hardly 1-2 company visited in the college for all the department and they only selected two three students
