The University offers safe and comfortable student accommodation with wardens on staff. The university has a total of 14 hostels. The boys' hostel provides all the basic facilities to students, including mess services.

The University provides 2 hostels for female students. All aspects of security, hygiene, health, and sanitation, as well as the privacy of the students, are carefully taken care of. The hostel mess is equipped with a refrigerator, a water cooler, and enough utensils

The University is stocked with a vast collection of books, including texts, journals, theses, and other reading materials. The University library has implemented an open-access system that includes card catalogues organised by author, subject, and title, as well as the Dewey decimal classification scheme. The library is open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays, and books are available for checkout by faculty and students for a set period of time. 

The University provides sports equipment and playgrounds to students. Outdoor sports facilities include a 400m track with a playground, football and hockey fields, 2 small playgrounds, 4 hostel volleyball courts, 2 track volleyball courts, 5 hostel badminton courts, 1 basketball court, 1 cricket pitch, and 1 Kabaddi ground. Indoor sports facilities include a badminton court and a table tennis hall. SVPUAT Meerut sports facilities help students engage in physical activities and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, has ICT facilities on the campus. It has an ATIC (Agriculture Technology Information Centre) that includes a convenient delivery system for its products and species, catering to farmers and other interested groups. Additionally, it has an e-library, laboratories, and research and training centres.

The University cafeteria of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, serves food, snacks, meals, and drinks to students, faculty, hostellers, and staff. 

The University of Agriculture and Technology Meerut features a seminar hall and a meeting hall, providing the perfect platforms for academic discussions, presentations, and other events.

The University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, provides departmental laboratories for its students, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. SVPUAT Meerut lab facilities are utilised by students, research scholars, and scientists, and include specialised labs such as Tissue Culture, Enzymology, Haematology and Histopathology, Parasitology, Microbiology, Recombinant DNA technology, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Immunology, and Monoclonal antibodies.

The University has two training hostels, the Farmer's Training Hostel and the Training Hostel, which are primarily for official guests from different institutes, universities, and organisations. The rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on availability. The rooms in these hostels are well-furnished and come with AC and geysers.
