60 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Zoology is an offered Full-time three/five-year Doctoral program and it is offered by Srinath University, Jamshedpur. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of five years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants to the Ph.D. in a zoology degree program must hold a master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum grade of 55%. Additionally, applicants must have at least five years of experience in research or teaching. Those who qualify for UGC (NET) or CSIR (JRF) programs are exempt from taking the entrance exam. Applicants must have good research and data-handling skills. They should be able to conduct experiments and analyze data using the appropriate techniques.
