Characteristics The College of Agricultural Technology, Theni (CAT Theni) is one of the leading colleges of agricultural technology in the Tamil Nadu, India. This affiliated college of the university was introduced only in 2010; however, it is already considered to be one of the centers of agricultural studies. Situated in Kullapuram Post, Theni district Tamil Nadu, this college has 200 acer farm land which will give practical learning to the students. Theni is offering B.Tech Agriculture course under Tamil Nadu Agriculture University and approved by ICAR which makes the college more standard in providing agricultural education. The college takes an overall of 384 students every year and has the strength of 29 faculty members, which gives an excellent student faculty ratio of 13:01.
CAT Theni has hosted many facilities on its premises to supplement the learning of its students. It possesses adequate and well equipped laboratories for the practical teaching and Research work. Good classroom and labs, and library facility is also quite good, classroom is equipped with smart board and projector. Laboratory are not well that equipped upto mark. But compared to other college it's better.
