About TANUVAS Chennai

Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS), Chennai was established in the year 1989. In the same year, it was granted university status by the Government of Tamil Nadu making it the first veterinary university in Asia. TANUVAS offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary science, food technology, poultry technology and dairy technology. Some of the TANUVAS Chennai courses are B.V.Sc and AH, M.Sc, M.V.Sc, PGD and Ph.D. Students can apply for the UG course based on their performance in the qualifying examination while a valid mark in the entrance exam is required for the TANUVAS Chennai postgraduate courses.
