TANUVAS Chennai Counselling 2026 for PG Courses

Eligible students will be called for Counselling as per their rank. MVSc candidates can choose any one of the disciplines and campus available at the time of Counselling. Alternatively, they can choose to remain on the waiting list. If a candidate desires to be on the waiting list, he/she will not be given any firm seat in other disciplines, and they will be filled by second Counselling based on merit and vacancy. 

Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University admission to MSc Biotechnology course shall be made by Counselling on the basis of total marks duly applying the rule of reservation. Candidates securing less than 40% of total marks are not eligible for Counselling. SC/ST candidates securing less than 35% of total marks are not eligible for Counselling.

TANUVAS Counselling 2026 for PhD Courses

Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences admission to PhD degree course shall be made by Counselling on the basis of total marks duly applying the rule of reservation. Candidates scoring less than 50% of total marks are not eligible for Counselling. SC/ST candidates scoring less than 40% of total marks are not eligible for Counselling for PhD in Veterinary & Animal Sciences, PhD in Food Technology in Processing Technology, Food Technology in Process Engineering and Food Technology in Safety and Quality and PhD in Biotechnology.
