60 MonthsThe LL.D degrees are of the most advanced law degrees. The candidates to these degrees are expected to produce a thesis that will constitute a substantial and valuable contribution to legal scholarship. Since the doctoral programme is designed to train law teachers, having the opportunity to practice teaching skills is critical. The candidate is therefore given teaching assignments in addition to making presentations before the faculty community.
The LL.D. Registration is valid for FIVE years only from the date of Registration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any candidate who satisfies the following conditions is eligible to seek registration for LL.D. in the University upon application for registration after going through these Regulations and Guidelines for LL.D.
- The candidate shall have Ph.D. Degree in Law from any recognized University.
- The candidate must have published as the main author a minimum of ten articles in the peer reviewed/refereed journals having ISSN number, preferably in SCOPUS/ UGC CARE listed journals, or books of repute with ISBN number after the completion of Ph.D.
