72 MonthsThe Ph.D. degrees is the most advanced law degrees. The candidates to these degrees are expected to produce a thesis that will constitute a substantial and valuable contribution to legal scholarship. Since the doctoral programme is designed to train law teachers, having the opportunity to practice teaching skills is critical. The candidate is therefore given teaching assignments in addition to making presentations before the faculty community.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate shall have a Masters Degree of any recognized University, with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). However, this condition is related to 50% in case of candidates belonging to SC and ST.
Admission Details
Selection of candidates for the available seats shall be on the basis of marks obtained in Research Proposal, entrance test plus interview or Research Proposal and interview only as the case may be on the basis of merit. Date of the interview will be notified later on.
