UAS Dharwad Facilities

The university provides a wide range of facilities and infrastructure to its students. UAS Dharwad facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls as well as a library with a large collection of books and study materials in the fields of agriculture, applied sciences, and allied disciplines. Indoor and outdoor sportsground are also available to students at University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad. The campus has a healthcare centre with first aid facilities for the emergency purposes of teachers and students. UAS Dharwad facilities also include a cafeteria where students can get healthy and hygienic meals. An auditorium is also available on campus, which is utilised for guest lecturers, speaker sessions, and a range of cultural events.

UAS Dharwad Admissions

Admissions to the university are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. UAS Dharwad admission to undergraduate degrees is based on the merit of the qualifying test or the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority and ICAR as well. Admission to postgraduate studies at University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad is based on the merit of the qualifying examination and a written test, each with a 50 percent weightage. The university offers placement opportunities to its students. All students who pass all of their courses and meet specific attendance standards are eligible for placement aid from the university.
