Kashmir University Facilities
The University of Kashmir provides a wide range of facilities to its students. Kashmir University facilities include residential facilities, a library, sports facilities, cafeteria, auditorium, medical facilities and many other facilities. The university provides separate hostels for boys and girls. All basic amenities have been provided in the hostels. The university library has a huge collection of books and other resources to help the students with their academics.

The University of Kashmir has a cafeteria that provides meals to the students, faculty and staff. There is a health centre on campus that caters to all the medical needs of the students and staff. - Boys Hostel
The university provides residential facilities to boys All basic amenities are made available. The university provides 5 hostels for boys.
- Girls Hostel
Basic facilities like security, electricity, water supply are provided to the hostelers. 4 hostels are provided for girls.
- Medical/Hospital
There is a health centre that caters to all the medical needs of the university’s students, faculty, and staff. Qualified doctors and para-medical staff are present on campus.
- Library
University of Kashmir facilities include a library. The library has 16 divisions. It has a collection of 6 lakh books and it has a special collection for visually challenged students. Around 80 computers are present in the e-resources centre with high-speed internet connectivity.
- Sports
Kashmir University provides a large number of sports facilities to the students. This includes fields and grounds for various sports. Water skiing, kayaking, canoeing, surfing, sailing, dragon boating, long distance swimming and aqua-parasailing competitions are conducted by the university. Cricket, hockey, football, volleyball, handball, baseball, lawn-tennis and basketball courts/fields within the main campus.

College Infrastructure
At the University of Kashmir, the infrastructure is generally decent but has some areas that need improvement. Classrooms are equipped with basic facilities, including WiFi and projectors, but not all classrooms have smart boards, which can limit interactivity. The laboratories are a bit outdated, with some equipment in need of repair or replacement. This can make practical learning a bit challenging, especially in a field like Zoology where fieldwork and hands-on experience are important. The library is well-stocked with books and journals, but the collection could be more up-to-date, especially with the latest research in Zoology. It's a useful resource, but not extensive enough for advanced research. The sports facilities are decent, with both indoor and outdoor options, though they aren't heavily utilized by all students. As for the hostels, the living spaces are generally clean, though some maintenance issues pop up occasionally. The food served in the hostels is hygienic, but the variety and quality could be better. It’s adequate for daily needs, but if you're picky about food, it might not always meet expectations. In summary, while the infrastructure is functional, there’s room for improvement, especially in laboratories and the overall maintenance of campus facilities.

the university campus is impressive. the classrooms are equipped with technologically advanced educational tools. the university has a main library and each department has its own library cum reading room.
Overall an academically enriching place.

College Infrastructure
The law faculty of the University of Kashmir is the best in the entire valley of Kashmir. It has a robust law society with an incredible staff. The environment is serene as well with magnificent university gardens and parks.
