B.Sc Textile Designing at William Carey University, Shillong Offline Course

B.Sc. Textile Designing is an undergraduate Fashion and Interior Designing course. Textile Design covers the study of the concepts and processes of creating designs for knitted, woven or printed fabrics, embroidery designs, print, weave, color detailing, texture, etc using scientific principles and computer applications. The B.Sc. degree course involves study of technical aspects of production and the properties of fibers yarn and dyes. The course trains the students in all interconnectivity techniques related to Textile Design integrated with computer application in textile design process. B.Sc. (Textile Design) degree course also covers the study of some of the specialized fields in the area of Textile Design such as Interiors (home furnishing) and Fabrics for garments and accessories. The course is three years duration and career orienting in nature.
