    Course Overview

    The aim of this course BFDI-072: Basics of Pattern Making and Sewing is to get knowledge about how to use an existing pattern, by applying the principles and techniques of pattern you can transform the original design into a new idea, until it looks the way that you want it to be and then marked for sale. 

    BFDI-072: Basics of Pattern Making and Sewing Classes provides a basic understanding of pattern making skills, sewing techniques and fabric tools which are being used for garment fabrication. It all starts with removal of fabric then cleaned up using a French curve and ruler. These patterns are then transferred from the fabric onto pattern paper and then add seam allowance, notches or other necessary markings.
