MA in Music is a postgraduate Music course. It is two years program and the course includes a comprehensive and thorough study and practice of Music as a discipline at an advanced level. The students have the options to choose between Vocal and Instrumental courses. In the instrumental course, the students have the option to take specialization in any one of the following instruments that is Sitar, Sarangi, Veena, Sarod, Dilruba, Violin, Bansuri, Shahnai, Guitar, Tabla and Santoor. M.A. Music course involves the study of music theory, music interpretation and history of music, besides imparting strong musical (vocal and instrumental) skills in a student. After completing the course candidates can find many job options in cultural and heritage places.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration relevant stream or equivalent under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
