    Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a 5.5-year academic program containing the 4 and 1/2 year academic session and a one-year internship program degree offered by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).


    Eligibility Criteria

    The basic requirement for eligibility to get the admission to BAMS program is qualifying for the 12th Standard with science stream or any other equivalent examination recognized by the concerned state government and education boards, provided the candidates pass the examination with 50% (150/300) for OPEN & 40% (120/300) for RESERVE Category aggregate marks in subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology.

    The admission shall be based on the NEET exam.
