The Candidate should pass the 12th examination of the 10+2 scheme of the MP Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects, with 45% marks for the General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC, only for MP domicile candidates.

Lateral Entry Diploma holders from Polytechnics

Lateral entry diploma holders from Polytechnics and students who have completed B.Sc. with Maths may seek admission in 2nd Year of BE. Diploma holder from the polytechnic will get admission to a branch similar to their diploma. These admissions are done through a lateral entry scheme with 50% marks in the respective qualifying examination via the counseling procedure only.

Direct without Entrance Test

The candidates may also seek admission directly without appearing in any of the entrance exams on the basis of 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths in the second and third phases of counseling, which is qualifying examination-based counseling and college-level counseling (CLC).
