Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

Eligibility Criteria

(i) The Candidate shall be an Indian National.

(ii) The Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the Academic year for which the admissions are being

conducted

(iii) The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) or equivalent on the date of his / her Counselling for admission, and secured a rank at the Common Entrance Test and should also satisfy other conditions laid down in these Rules

Lateral entry admissions: Students with diploma qualification have an option of direct admission into 2nd year B. Tech. (Lateral entry scheme)

Admission Details

Under Category A: 70% of the seats are filled through EAMCET counselling.

Under Category B: 30% seats are filled based on 10+2 merits in compliance with guidelines of APSCHE

Lateral entry admissions: 20% seats of sanctioned intake will be available in each course as supernumerary seats. Admissions to this three year B Tech later entry Programme will be through ECET. The maximum period to complete B. Tech. under lateral entry scheme is six consecutive academic years from the date of joining.

College Infrastructure

Yes our college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities with good quality equipment. Every classroom has a projector system to explain the concept to the students easily.Our library is filled with all the required resourcnes.We have all type of grounds like cricket , football ground , volleyball court ,basketball court ,badminton court.Our hostel is not so good with infrastructure it is more worst facilities provided in our hostel with wifi and proper hygiene food

College Infrastructure

It has almost all necessary facilities such as ground , sports complex , library ,computer and electronics laboratories etc.Classrooms are big and have black board for classes and fans for air,and the fans are working properly.

College Infrastructure

The class rooms are clean and Infrastructure is also updated. Lab facilities are also there for respective departments.Hostels too are good, rooms are given on a sharing basis and mess is present inside every Hostel.
