72 MonthsPh.D. Dentistry program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with an MDS degree awarded by RGUHS University or by a recognized College/University recognized by DCI or a PG Dental degree considered as equivalent by RGUHS are eligible for enrollment for the Ph.D. course in Dentistry.
Admission Details
- All the candidates intending to register for Ph.D. program shall appear for the entrance test conducted by the University.
- Percentile method is adopted for the declaration of the results. Faculty 50th percentile shall be cut off point to declare for having passed the Ph.D. entrance examination
- The students who secure 50th percentile and above in the Ph.D. Entrance Examination is declared selected for admission to Ph.D. courses as per the calendar of events and such result is valid for two terms (for that academic year and the next academic year) subject to the availability of guides.
