IIT Kharagpur Law provides various training programmes to improve soft skills, professional communication and personality through career counselling by professional experts. The IIT Kharagpur Law Placement Cell offers internship opportunities to its students in the field of law. According to the IIT Kharagpur placements 2023 (NIRF Report), out of 47 eligible UG students 30 were placed with a median salary of Rs. 9,00,000. Meanwhile, out of 27 eligible students from the PG programme all 27 were placed with IIT Kharagpur Law median salary package of Rs. 12,00,000.

Yes absolutely. IIT Kharagpur offers Postgraduate Diploma in Maritime Operation & Management (PGDMOM) in the fields of:
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering etc.
Moreover, the candidate must have MEO Class 1 certificate issued by the government of India. If all the above criteria are satisfied by you, you can pursue PGDMOM in IIT Kgp.
