    The cut off marks for Bhms /bams goes lower than bds and as every year it varies and are different but roughly to get government college the marks required are:

    General : 400 or above

    OBC : 350 or above

    SC : 300 +

    St : 280 +

    Hello Aspirant,  There is good chance to get BAMS from BHU. One must have scored 500 + marks in the neet entrance examination to be at the safe. After that your category OBC also help in getting you BAMS. But the cutoff depends on the difficulty level of exam.

    Sorry to say that you cannot get seat in government college for Medicine .

    For getting into government colleges require above 500 marks 

    And almost  under 30 thousand rank .

    You can try for private colleges.

    Don't worry about it.

    Also dental course are not bad either

    Since you have not mentioned your category, I am supposing it to be General. For BHMS course, until last year, the cutoff marks were 400+ in a government college. Since, the cutoffs are expected to rise a bit, you might have a little possibility of getting a seat

    With 231 marks you do have chances of getting a private bams college in kerela through state quota. Being an obc candidate you will entertain certain extent of relaxation in the cutoff. Which might help you.
    As of now it would be difficult to put forward any specific prediction.

    BAMS colleges are of three types in Maharashtra.

    1. Full Government - There are some colleges which are fully govt. in function.
    2. Semi-Government - They are Government Aided college
    3. Private - Many Private colleges are present

    According to preferences filled you can get any college based on marks.

    If we analyze the last yeat cutoff, then we will see for government college general students need 480 marks  and OBC - 450, SC - 420.
    Whereas in private college, general students- 350
    OBC- 320
    SC- 250
