You have scored good and you have was quota then you can have a bams or bhms seat through your state quota but you can't get it through all India quota because for that you need to score more marks.

Hello aspirant,

Bams is 5.5 years course, actually it is 4.5 years course but you have to intern for 1.5 year which is mandatory. Generally, classes start from mid of September but some colleges get it started after 1st or 2nd round when they have enough students for theory lectures.

If only scope is considered then MBBS has a upper edge over BAMS and other medical degrees , at least in India. The average earning of MBBS is way higher than that of a BAMS degree holder .
