The infrastructure of management is appreciable, as they have well maintained it . They've got all the necessary study materials, equipments . The cafeteria also have AC , the food provided there is fresh and hygienic . Library have all the necessary books needed for preparation and spacious sitting area with A/c . In my 3 years of BBA , they maintained the infrastructure really well and keep updating it.
Academics
The study here was average in my experience as the faculties way of teaching was boring . Out of 10 there were only 3 who used teach in a smart way, most faculties seemed to be of less experienced, . The hiring of good faculties here seems to be the problem. Also there's only 2 specialisations Finance & Marketing , I would recommend to check the specialisations update here.
Placements
The placement here is outstanding, their promise of placement is real and genuine. In my batch almost every got hired by the companies . The faculties who are in charge of placements are cooperative and will make sure that each student gets the opportunity.
Campus Life
There is not much in the management campus life here as you must be expecting .The area is limited . The sports culture here is boring , and they never held any festival celebration fests , no stalls , no welcome fest for freshers , the farewell was below average i would give zero , it was held in the classroom , so you can take the idea how it must have been. Canteen have very limited food options. Overall it was a boring campus life .

My University has most of the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment required for academic and extracurricular activities. The campus is well maintained, and most classrooms are clean, spacious, and air-conditioned. Many classrooms are equipped with projectors and other teaching aids, and Wi-Fi is available in most parts of the campus and hostels too. The university has a well-maintained Central Library with a large collection of books and digital resources. In addition, each department has its own library to meet the academic needs of students. The science laboratories are well equipped with modern instruments. Although I have not visited them personally, my friends from the Science Department have told me that they are well maintained and regularly used. The university also provides good sports facilities. There are grounds and courts for volleyball, basketball, badminton, and other games. Some hostels also have gym facilities for students. The hostels and other living spaces are generally clean and maintained properly. However, the quality of food served in the canteens and hostel mess needs improvement. While the food is usually hygienic, its taste and overall quality could be better. Overall, the university offers a good learning environment with adequate facilities for students.

I am pursuing a B.A. (Honours) in German at Visva-Bharati University because I have a strong interest in learning foreign languages and exploring different cultures. I chose this university mainly because of the excellent reputation of the German Department and its faculty. The quality of teaching is outstanding, and I feel fortunate to learn under experienced professors, especially Professor Romit Roy, whose teaching style is engaging, practical, and inspiring. In my department, the faculty members are highly supportive and always encourage students to improve their language skills. In some other departments, there can be a language barrier because a few professors and Ph.D. scholars are more comfortable speaking Bengali. However, they make a genuine effort to communicate in English and sometimes Hindi so that students from different backgrounds can understand the lessons. The curriculum is updated regularly every semester and academic year to include recent developments in the field of German language and literature. I believe the course provides a strong academic foundation and many opportunities to develop practical skills. The department also invites companies and organizations for campus interviews and recruitment. Ultimately, becoming job-ready depends on the student's own dedication, while the faculty provides excellent guidance and support throughout the course.

The quality of placements at my college is good, especially for students who actively prepare for job opportunities. In the Department of German, many students choose to pursue higher studies after graduation, so not everyone participates in campus placements. From my department, I know two seniors who received job offers from Amazon with a salary package of around ₹7 LPA. I have also seen a senior from the French Department receive a package of approximately ₹9 LPA. Although I do not know the highest package offered by the university overall or the exact percentage of students placed, there are regular placement opportunities across different language departments. Apart from corporate jobs, the university also shares vacancies from schools and educational institutions, where the offered salary is generally around ₹35,000–₹45,000 per month. The placement cell and faculty members are supportive and keep students informed about recruitment drives, internships, and career opportunities. Overall, the placement process is well organized, and students who develop the required skills and perform well in interviews have good chances of securing rewarding career opportunities.

The professors are well qualified, and know what they are teaching. They clear doubts promptly and are available whenever we need them. College gives option to study many subjects in GE,SEC and VAC, so curriculum is updated and lots of options are available.

The highest package is nearly 28-29 lakhs, and average is 8lakhs. Placement Cell host many workshops and sessions on industry information and skill building. The process is little hectic, i.e, the CV approval.

Campus is very lively, always bustling with students. Seniors are friendly and helpful. Worst thing about the campus is Election time. There are many societies and opportunities. Teachers and support staff ate helpful and prompt.
