Our hostels are not that great but also not that bad. We have Wi-Fi for each block and floor. We have a reading room but in college building also we have a library. The quality of food is average. Gym and medical doctors are provided inside the campus. Doctors are only available from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for every day.
Some teachers are helpful but some of them are not that helpful. Some teachers teach very well and also help with good guidance. Course curriculum is relevant. It does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are average but some teachers make the papers hard. Overall, it's average.
In our course, almost 70% of students got placed but most of them have less than 10 LPA salary packages. Rest either didn't get placed or chose to pursue higher studies, like MBA or M.Tech, etc. Top role that is offered in our course is software engineer.
The campus is small, the infrastructure is old and not maintained, and Wi-Fi is available 24/7, but sometimes it's very slow. The quality of the food is decent. Medical facilities are also available, and a doctor is available in the college. Many sports and games are available, such as football, cricket, badminton, etc.

B.Tech placements for the year 2024 had its topmost package at INR 26.5 LPA and an average package of INR 8.81 LPA. Furthermore, with regards to the placement 2024 drive, there were also a total of 192 offers that were made and 42 recruiters who came to the campus.
Infrastructure is quite good. It is 13 acres based college campus. Every facility is available here on campus. Every topic has its own lab. One can rate 3 out of 5 for labs of Chemistry and workshops. Wi-Fi facility is also available inside campus. Classrooms are good and projector available in every classroom.
All teachers are PhD qualified. They are all knowledgeable but we should do our own to get the best productivity. Courses have their own curriculum and and are fully subject oriented. Course curriculum makes the students industry-ready. Semestar exams are quite hard.

Classrooms are compact and designed with BYOD. Nice environment on the campus and hostels are neat and clean. Every day the sweepers clean the campus and hostel. The mess is okayish and menu changes every day but got same every week. Medical facilities and sports clubs are available.

Great infrastructure. And since I'm a Geography student, I can happily say that the instruments and infrastructure is top notch. Saleisan has its own media house and radio station hence its a advantage.
The college is an Academic Sport. Since the college has autonomy there hold over their examinations and rules are obsolete. Hence the exams are taken very seriously and the students are motivated to get good grades.
There is definitely room for improvement in placements. There is no good and strong basis of placements especially for theoretical courses mainly deanery of arts and humanities. Hence I would like more placement opportunities for such courses.
It's a great college in siliguri. Since I'm a student whose degree is more involved in practicals, I can definitely speak more about the infrastructure. The college also provides one a good base to showcase their co curricular talents like music, dance, sports, theater, radio and more. The college has associations within them to promote their work of the department. And honestly the college is completely run by the work of the students to if you're interested to work for college, You're Welcome.
The infrastructure is average. You have to not expect much from government institutions. Seniors are supportive if you reach out. Wi-Fi is available 24/7 with good speed. Every floor has routers. The library is a bit disappointing. It has mostly subject-related books only. Unlike other colleges, the library remains closed at weekends. It closes at 8 PM.
Faculty members are good. Exam papers are checked strictly. CGPA is evaluated relatively. It is not absolute like other colleges. Many students fail. Some even carry up to 10 back in till 3rd year. College courses are a bit old-fashioned but events organized by the college societies are great.
