BA Music Hons at Jain Deemed to be University, Bangalore Offline Course

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) in collaboration with Dr. L Subramaniam's Lakshminarayana Global Center of Excellence (LGCE) is offering BA (Honors) in Music with an emphasis on performance.

The program offers Carnatic singing, violin, veena, mridangam, and western piano. It will take a holistic approach in teaching music and empower students to become performers with an awareness of global music traditions. This will also help students to pursue their master's and doctorate on similar lines if they are academically inclined. This course will give students an option to become music educators or ethnomusicologists. This is a uniquely designed course that will give students various options both in India and abroad.

The delivery of this course will be supported by the team from LGCE including Dr. L Subramaniam and Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam, Dr. Meera Rajaram Pranesh, Bindu Subramaniam and Ambi Subramaniam from the Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts, and Hari Ravikumar, supported by global institutes like the Norwegian Academy of Music as well as other academies in Europe and USA.
