"Infrastructure is solid. The labs are air-conditioned and have good systems, which is what matters most for a CS student. The library is a great place to study; it’s quiet and has a good collection. The canteen food is okay—typical South Indian meals—but you’ll probably end up eating at the stalls outside the gate more often. The hostels are decent and kept clean, though the rooms are a bit small for the price. WiFi works, but it can be spotty during peak hours in the hostel

"I’m studying CS because, let’s face it, that’s where the jobs are. The quality of teaching is a mix—some professors are brilliant and really know their stuff, while others just stick to the PPTs. Since we are under VTU, the curriculum is a bit traditional. I wouldn't say it makes you 100% 'job-ready' on its own; you definitely have to do your own projects and join the college's 'Center of Excellence' labs to learn modern tech. We have 3 internals (IAs) every semester, and they come at you fast. They aren't super hard, but keeping up with lab records plus internals can get stressful."
Placements
"Placements are the main reason people come to CMRIT. For CS/IS, it’s easily 90%+ placement. The highest package usually goes up to 25-30 LPA (often from companies like Amazon or Commvault), but the average is more like 6-7 LPA. The placement cell is very active and starts training us in soft skills from the 3rd year itself. They are quite supportive, but they can be strict with the rules—if you get a job, you usually can't sit for other companies unless the package is significantly higher."
Campus Life
The campus isn't massive like an IIT, but it’s very well-utilized. The best part is the 'Akruti' fest—it’s the highlight of the year. Most of the crowd is pretty chill and focused. Teachers are generally helpful, though some are strict about the 75% attendance rule. Location-wise, being in the IT corridor (AECS Layout/Brookefield) is a huge plus, but the traffic nearby is a nightmare. It’s a very safe area with plenty of PGs and cafes around. In terms of emergencies, we have basic medical aid on campus and hospitals very close by

This college has one building and it has a courtyard in the entrance where students talk with their friends.At our time there were five labs for zoology , botany , chemistry, biology and computer lab.The classroom were very good with proper wooden bench.

At my time the college was affiliated to Calcutta University.I have done B.Sc with subjects zoology, botany and chemistry.We did lots of fun doing practical in Zoology lab.We did experiment of cockroach and frog in our lab.Our professors were very good they helped us in doing project works also They gave us all types of suggestions that can come in the exam.But now this college is affiliated to West State University.

In that time there was no placement like private colleges.I used to study for government job exam at home in third year.In B.Sc most of the students opted for research in their specific subjects.The professors guided us for applying in government job exams.

We spend a good time at the campus during the college time we discuss with our friends about the science topics and our daily lives.We kept touch with our seniors.We used to talk to them after the end of all the classes.We used to gather their experience by keeping good relation with them.

this college has very unique infrastructure with beautiful surrounding of mountains and greenery all around campus has good classrooms, well-equipped labs and labs for pharmacy students have all the apparatus and chemicals , multiple libraries and facilities like Wi-Fi, canteens and gym. seperate for both boys and girls .

Teachers are mostly supportive helpful focus on helping students understand core subjects, practical sessions and assignments and projects but the faculty members of pharmacy department are not very good they only focus on completing syllabus rather then explaining to students properly they are always busy in their project works . the curriculum covers both theory and regular practical work, and students get opportunities like industrial visits, workshops and project work that help in learning.

placement vary in every department these are very good for courses like btech computing it many well known companies come for placement like in other courses like pharmacy much companies do not visit campus though placement cell conduct various drives for the help of children

i very memorable college life making new friends from states knowling their culture attending Cultural events, seminars classes clubs with them and having fun at hostel after classes and in the ,mid night and enjoying in th mid of the class is very interesting exploring new locations and many more seeing beautiful sunset and views from rooftop

Placement offers by college is not soo good . Only few people get placed in the college in local firms and private banks like hdfc and idbi . Average package offered by college is 2 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 3 lakh per annum

Our University infrastructure was best, super smart classrooms, digital boards, the garden area at it's finest. Every course has their own building. Library was also huge, we've got the hostel area nicely established, small shops to purchase every stationary you needed, and canteen very important.

I did my b.tech from computer science, and i found that teaching was not that up to the mark. Students are not competitive and that is one thing that helps in your growth. I wasn't able to find that study circle nowhere in the college.
Placements
Placements here are also not that good as much they show in the advertisements. If I have to give any percentage then I would go with 20%. The highest salary package till now was INR 8 lakhs per annum. Less students get placed, for instance 2/10.
Campus Life
It was not fine for a student travelling daily but if you're a hostler you find it great you know the good old days will be your memory. I have friends who were hostlers so they enjoying it. Everyday parties, late night clubs, sleepovers and all.

This is the only thing my college lacks in. The building is what I can say is ONLY FINE and not that really good, the one which is enough to cope with. I'm currently pursuing b.com and the professors are super great. If students find any problem the teachers are always there to help. An advantage for girls to study in. The syllabus is always up to date. Teachers are helpful not only in studies but also if one wants to participate in any other competition.

Placements are not that very good for our college. Though students document get internships in companies provided by the college, but they do not guarantee placement. Our college girls are really smart with a very nice CGPA but placement is another thing that our college lacks for.

Campus life is fine. It really depends on the circle you are in. I have got my friends from my school so it is fun for me but not that much. And if you're that type of student who is engaged in other activities like joining college clubs and other competition then it may be great for you too.
