      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at SCAC is fairly basic and could be improved. The classrooms and library are functional, but some facilities feel outdated. The campus is also quite small, which means there is limited space for students and sports activities. Maintenance is acceptable, but I expected better facilities overall.

      Academics

I chose commerce because I wanted to build a foundation in business and finance, but the academic experience at SCAC has been mixed. Some professors are helpful, while others rely heavily on traditional teaching methods. I feel there should be more practical projects, industry interaction and skill-based learning.

      Placements

The placement opportunities at SCAC are average and can be quite competitive. There are recruiters from different sectors, but the better opportunities are limited and packages vary significantly. The placement cell provides some support, although students have to put considerable effort into preparing for interviews and finding opportunities independently.

      Campus Life

Campus life is okay, but the small campus limits the overall experience. There are fests, competitions and student activities, although the options could be more diverse. Faculty and staff experiences vary between departments. The location is convenient and well connected, which is definitely one of the stronger points of the college.

      Anything Else

The biggest advantage of SCAC is its location because reaching the college by bus, auto or cab is quite easy. Apart from that, I feel the college could improve its infrastructure, practical learning and placement opportunities. It is a decent college, but students should keep their expectations realistic before joining.

      College Infrastructure

As a first-year student at SCAC, I find the infrastructure quite good for regular college needs. The classrooms are comfortable, and the library and computer facilities are useful for studying. The campus is not very big, but it is clean and well maintained. Overall, the facilities make the first-year experience comfortable.

      Academics

I am currently in my first year at SCAC, studying commerce because I want to understand business, finance and accounting better. The professors are knowledgeable and most are approachable when we have doubts. The teaching is a good mix of lectures, presentations and assignments, which has helped me adjust to college academics.

      Placements

Since I am still in my first year, I have not experienced the placement process personally yet. However, SCAC has a placement cell that provides information about internships, recruitment and career opportunities. From what I have seen and heard from seniors, the college gives students a decent platform to prepare for future placements.

      Campus Life

My first year at SCAC has been quite enjoyable so far. There are fests, competitions, clubs and other activities where students can participate and meet new people. The atmosphere is friendly and seniors have generally been helpful. The college is also easy to reach by bus, auto and other public transport.

      Anything Else

Being in the first year, I am still exploring everything the college has to offer. One thing I already appreciate is the convenient location and connectivity. There are plenty of transport options around the college, making daily travel easy. Overall, my first-year experience at SCAC has been positive so far.

      College Infrastructure

Being in my second year, I feel SCAC has decent infrastructure for regular academic needs. The classrooms are comfortable, and the library and computer facilities are useful for assignments and studies. The campus is clean and maintained reasonably well. It is not very spacious, but the available facilities are sufficient.

      Academics

I am in my second year of commerce and my academic experience at SCAC has been positive. The professors are knowledgeable and most are approachable when we need help. The curriculum gives a good foundation in commerce, while presentations, assignments and projects provide some practical exposure. Overall, teaching quality is quite good.

      Placements

Being in second year, I have started paying more attention to internships and placements. SCAC provides information about different opportunities and the placement cell is helpful with guidance. Seniors have also shared positive experiences. I feel the college provides a good platform, although students still need to prepare independently.

      Campus Life

My second year at SCAC has been quite enjoyable. There are different fests, competitions, clubs and activities throughout the year, giving students opportunities to interact and explore their interests. The faculty and staff are generally approachable. The location is convenient and travelling to college by bus, auto or cab is easy.

      Anything Else

After spending two years at SCAC, I would say the college has given me a good overall experience. The academics are decent, campus activities keep things interesting and the location makes commuting easy. There is always scope for improvement, but I am happy with my experience and the opportunities I have received so far.

      College Infrastructure

After spending two years at SCAC, I would rate the infrastructure as average to decent. The classrooms, library and computer facilities are useful for regular studies, but some areas could be improved. The campus is clean and functional, although the limited space can sometimes be inconvenient during busy hours.

      Academics

I am in my second year of commerce and my academic experience has been fairly average. Some professors explain concepts well and are approachable, while teaching can feel more theoretical in certain subjects. The curriculum provides a decent foundation, but I would like to see more practical projects and industry exposure.

      Placements

After two years, I would say the placement opportunities at SCAC are average. There are companies and internship opportunities available, but getting the better roles requires good preparation and skills. The placement cell provides basic guidance and support, although I feel there could be more companies and stronger course-specific opportunities.

      Campus Life

Campus life at SCAC is fairly enjoyable, with fests, competitions, clubs and other activities. The student crowd is diverse and I have met some good people during my two years here. The campus is relatively small, but the location is convenient and travelling to college by bus, auto or cab is quite easy.

      Anything Else

Overall, my experience at SCAC after two years has been average but satisfactory. The college has a convenient location, reasonable fees and a decent academic environment. At the same time, I feel there is scope for improvement in infrastructure, practical learning and placements. It is a decent option if expectations are realistic.

      Batch of 1985-01-01 | B.Com Hons

      College Infrastructure

When I studied at Hindu College in the 1980s, the infrastructure was quite adequate for that period. The classrooms, library and other academic facilities provided a good environment for learning. The campus had a traditional atmosphere and was well suited for students. Of course, facilities today are much more advanced than they were then.

      Academics

I graduated from Hindu College in 1985 and remember the academic environment very positively. I chose my course because I wanted a strong foundation in my chosen field. The professors were knowledgeable, disciplined and encouraged students to think independently. The education I received helped me develop confidence and a strong academic base.

      Placements

When I graduated in 1985, campus placements were not as structured or common as they are today. Most students found opportunities through their own efforts, networks and academic qualifications. Hindu College had a strong reputation, which helped graduates pursue good opportunities and further studies after completing their degree.

      Campus Life

My campus life at Hindu College was one of the most memorable parts of my student years. There was a strong sense of community, with students participating in cultural activities, discussions and college events. The teachers were respected and approachable. Being in Delhi also made the college convenient to reach through public transport.

      Anything Else

Looking back at my time at Hindu College, I feel fortunate to have studied there. The college gave me a strong educational foundation, good friendships and many memorable experiences. Its academic reputation and vibrant student environment made those years special, and the lessons I learned there have stayed with me throughout my career.

      College Infrastructure

After spending two years at SCAC, I feel the infrastructure is one area that needs improvement. The classrooms, library and computer facilities are functional, but some resources seem outdated. The campus is also quite small, which can feel restrictive when there are many students around.

      Academics

I am in my second year and my academic experience has been mixed. Some professors are knowledgeable and helpful, but the teaching quality is not consistent across subjects. A lot of the learning is still theory-focused, and I feel there should be more practical projects, industry interaction and updated teaching methods.

      Placements

After two years, I would rate the placement opportunities as average. There are companies visiting the campus, but the number of strong opportunities is limited and packages can vary. The placement cell provides basic guidance, although students need to put in considerable effort themselves to build skills and prepare for interviews.

      Campus Life

Campus life after two years has been average. There are fests, competitions and clubs, but the limited campus space can restrict activities. The student environment is generally okay, although experiences with faculty and staff differ. The location is convenient and public transport makes daily commuting relatively easy.

After two years at SCAC, I feel the college has both positives and negatives. The location, affordable fees and some good professors are advantages, but infrastructure, practical learning and placements could be stronger. It is a decent option, but I would suggest comparing it with other colleges before making a decision.

We don't have air conditioner in our class. Because we have to do practice in hot season so we became tired for that we need ac. We have good wifi connection. We have separate library in our department.Living place is clear and hygienic.

We need more good professor. Now who are present they are also good. They keep classes from morning to evening. Yes curriculum is updated but I'm not job prepared for right now. For everyday's class pressure i don't get time for job preparation.

      College Infrastructure

Our college has necessary equipment except wifi connection and smart board. Water supply is good. We have water purifier. We have pad machine for girls during their emergency. But we don't have wifi which is very necessary for our study.

      Academics

Academic quality is average to me. Teachers take classes and give explanation but they don't give any suggestions or notes for exam. They don't take mock test before our final examination. If they take it then it will be easy for us to be prepared for exam. We are not ready for job.

      Placements

Very poor placement system. They never offer us any placement. Don't discuss also about this topic. They only teach us and finished our syllabus. Apart from that they don't talk about any kind of opportunities.

      Campus Life

Our campus's toilet is not clean properly. It's unhygienic. Sometimes we clean our own campus. Stuff, student and teachers are very humble. In the day time the college area is safe but in evening time this is not safe because our college situated inside a narrow lane.

      Anything Else

In our library we need more books related to our studies. The food quality is not that much good they need to increase the food quality.

      College Infrastructure

Our College has ok ok infrastructure with just a clean classrooms, a normal library, decent labs, and a good play ground. The campus is good , though some facilities could be upgraded for a better student experience, but it is a good college for undergraduate students.

      Academics

Our College academics are just a ok ok, and most teachers were supportive and knowledgeable. The structure builds a good college, though more practical exposure and activities would be helpful if it is done in college.

      Placements

Placement opportunities of our College are limited, especially for undergraduate students. While a few companies visit the campus, students often need to rely on higher studies or off-campus opportunities for better career growth in career . It would be great if more companies comes in college.

      Campus Life

      Decent campus life.

      Anything Else

      Decent college.
