Currently the college doesn't have a permanent campus, classes are being held in temporary bsnl campus building. Classrooms are normal, with low lighting. Hostel is located 4-5 km away in a society named khelgaon housing complex. Hostel rooms are apartment flats which are good and the accomodation is managed by the college properly. Wifi facility available in both college and hostel. Transport is provided by the college from hostel to campus building
Academics
This college is good for people who wants pressure free environment. Less pressure of assignments and projects also exams being easy if you study well. Faculties are highly qualified is their respective field. You might face a little problem with the teaching style but except that, they communicate well, and are supportive
Placements
Placements are improving every year, where seniors and Alumni help students to prepare for campus interviews. You can expect a decent packages around 14 to 16 LPA for an average student. The Training and Placement Cell helps students with mock tests, mock interviews, and will guide them properly till their graduation. This college has decent placements compared to those who stand around the same tier, again same tier means, colleges that are started around 2017 or late like IIIT RANCHI
Campus Life
Peaceful campus life, since living in a society among residential people takes away the remote feeling since the size of a batch is just around 300. The hostel is not far from the main town, so, students can spend time outside but still don't expect anything from a city like Ranchi which is basically a Town. Again, there is no big fun in the campus life, it's just normal, but during events, you can expect some crazy fun

I'm studying currently, right now, except mess food we didn't face any specific problem that needs to be highlighted so much. We don't have much expections from college apart from placements, so we guys are having a good time here.

VIT-AP has a modern and well-maintained campus with spacious classrooms, good laboratories, a central library, Wi-Fi and decent hostel facilities. The academic blocks are well designed and the overall campus is clean. However, since the university is still developing, some construction work is ongoing and a few facilities, especially dedicated research labs and sports infrastructure, can be improved.

Academics are well structured and the curriculum provides a good foundation for CSE students. The FFCS system is a major advantage as students can choose faculty members based on their preferences. Most faculty members are supportive and knowledgeable. However, the academic schedule can be demanding, so students need to manage their time well to work on coding, projects and other skills outside academics.

Placements are decent, especially for CSE students, with companies from different sectors participating in recruitment. The placement process is largely centralized across VIT campuses, and students get opportunities to attend drives and interviews. The Career Development Centre also provides training in aptitude, coding, communication and interviews. However, placements are competitive and getting a good package depends significantly on individual coding skills, projects, CGPA and interview performance.

Campus life is enjoyable, with various technical and cultural clubs, events, sports activities and student communities. The campus has a pleasant atmosphere and provides good opportunities to meet students from different parts of the country. The location is somewhat away from the main city, but transportation is available. Overall, it offers a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities.

College infrastructure is okay. It is not very accessible for wheelchair users. I once had a fracture and the lift in one of the buildings couldn’t fit the wheelchair in it. There was no other way for me to move between floors.

Most lecturers have good knowledge about the subject they are teaching. In some cases, teachers aren’t able to teach the subject in bite sized portions. The knowledge being passed feels more like a word vomit than teaching a noob.

The college does not provide placements for my stream. Even in the case of other streams, there isn’t a lot of provisions for placements. The college doesn’t provide any options for internships either.

There are many activities. Each month there usually is some fest from a department so there is a wide variety of activities.
