College has very good placements. It 100% placements record. I had got admission here last year. I got good experience here. The faculty staff are very knowledgeable and polite too. The infrastructure of college is very good. In college there is very nice environment for study and also for all other activities. There are so many national level technical fests organized every year that gives a lot of fun.
College is the best time of our life.
Oriental institute of science and technology is really a good college with superlative faculties, outstanding curricular activities, highest degree infrastructure, best lab facility and even good library...
Faculties display enthusiasm for their subject and they have the desire to share it with students. They are concerned with developing their students and problem-solving behaviour. They are well educated and having professional teaching experience.
Oist have very good placement records. The average package in Oriental institute of science and technology goes to 3.6 lakhs per annum. Some students begged package worth 6 or above 6 lakhs and it's depend on the students ability. Companies like TCS looks for software developer.
CAMPUS HOSTEL :
There are two girls hostels and a boys hostel. I will suggest to go for campus hostel without any single thought. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well managed.
College celebrates Tech Fest event every year and all the senior students of every branch organize an event for fresher.
Farewell, and fresher parties are also organised every year....
And the most important point is -
Oist is a ragging free institute....

Batch of 2020 | BE Information Technology
Hey guyzz, I would like to share my views on this college.
I am currently in 1st year of this college. It is a fair college in terms of events and activities it provides. But certainly it is not that good in terms of academic.
As all say rgpv is not good for its syllabus. It's actually not worth it to study in any of the rgpv colleges if you wanna gain knowledge.
It's all that simple to clear your exams one night before by just simply reading shivani and that's all you need.
It's syllabus is also outdated and is of nearly of less use as seeing today's generation.
Also the new rule of rgpv of CBCS system is taking away the real talents of engg minds.
But if u wanna study in MP then this is one of the prestigious college as it is one of the oldest private college of MP. It is certainly far better than the other institutes of MP in one or the other way.
One thing is certain about this college that if u are an above average student then you will surely get placed in one of the company that the college invites.
The college has also a tie-up with TCS so u won't need to worry about placements.
But studying and graduating from this college won't be helpful for you to take practical knowledge.
I hope this review of mine helps you.
Thank you guyzz for reading this.

Batch of 2014 | BE Computer Science and Engineering
The infrastructure of college is the main attraction. Along with many co-curricular activities, academics is well balanced. Good Faculty but slightly below average hostels. College experience overall was very nice, the crowd is decent but college can improve in terms of industrial exposure and placements. The good infrastructure no doubt attracts.Apart from hostel experience, all other areas were a thumbs up.
Batch of 2016 | BE Electronics and Communication Engineering
The college has Good Infrastructure facilities. The classrooms, labs, seminar halls and Library have all the necessities required, although some labs like Electronics and communication engineering labs need renovation in terms of new equipment and instruments. Industrial visits are also held at the college and are quite useful sometimes but are less frequently held. For my batch, only 1 industrial visit has been held (I am a final year in B.E. ECE). The placement record according to me is good. Though I would strongly suggest my college to allow placed students to apply for further companies so that they could get better choice and better opportunities. Also, some core companies for Electronics and Communication should be called in. College hostels are also good but the basic facilities like Water (including drinking water), Cleanliness, Food (both taste and nutrition) and Internet facility must be taken care off. The college professors are good. Some faculties are Brilliant and some are good but some definitely lack subject knowledge and interest. Students come mostly from M.P, Bihar and Jharkhand. Although some also come from Assam, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, and U.P. In a case of affordability it is a good option if you are not opting for management quota. The tuition fee is around INR 65,000/- (including bus facility) and INR 55,000/- plus Hostel fee (bus fee not applicable). As for my state, the tuition fees of college is much higher than that for most colleges in M.P. So, it has good affordability.
