Department of Electronics and Communication started functioning from the academic year 1995 along with the inception of this flagship Institute. The Department has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and offers a 4 year UG Course in Electronics and Communication and a two year PG Course in Digital Communication discipline. The Department follows a comprehensive curriculum as per the mandate of the affiliating University and gives a lot of emphasis on practical learning through its state of the art high end hardware and software labs.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

The admissions in Engineering or the B. Tech. course are done on the basis of candidates’ score in the JEE Main exam which is conducted at All India Level.

The college has good infrastructure with well equipped classrooms labrary seminars hall,sports facilities,clean campus and basic acenities.the overall environment is suitable foracedmaic learning and student development.

College Infrastructure

yes the college has the necessary infrastructure and facilities for the students. the classroom are spacious and provide comfortable learning environment. the laboratories have required equipment and the library has the useful books and study materials.wi-fi facilities are available on campus. sports facilities are also provided for the students. the campus is generally clean and the facilities are maintained properly. overall, the infrastructure is satisfactory for academics and extracurricular activities.
