Some courses are crazy difficult, hence their exam also difficult. Professors are amazing, some are rude, but most of them are ready for collaboration and helping students also they guide us whenever it needs.

Above 75% of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 62 LPA, and the lowest package is 13 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Tata Motors, Mahindra, Google, and Microsoft. Maybe 67% of students got internships in Unlox and other companies. Every department has its own dedicated library in addition to the central one, which is a rare and commendable feature. Being in my 2nd year, I can already feel the difference in my analytical thinking, communication skills, and business awareness. DEI is not just a college — it is an institution that shapes your character along with your career.

DEI does have a placement cell and training & development programs that work actively to connect students with recruiters. For technical branches like B.Tech and M.Tech, the placement record is noticeably good, with reputed companies visiting campus and offering decent packages. Engineering and postgraduate management (MBA) students tend to benefit more from the placement ecosystem. However, for BBA students specifically, the placement opportunities are relatively limited. Best Features of the Campus: The campus is clean, eco-friendly, and recognized by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy as a sustainable campus. The environment is disciplined yet welcoming. The separate department buildings, spacious classrooms, library, sports grounds, and hostel facilities all contribute to a well-rounded campus life. Safety — especially for girl students — is given top priority, which is truly commendable. Student Activities: DEI has a vibrant extracurricular culture. The annual fest Sampravah is a highlight of the academic calendar, bringing students together for cultural competitions, performances, and celebrations. Intra and inter-faculty cultural competitions are held regularly. Students also actively participate in sports competitions at district, state, and zonal levels — cricket, badminton, volleyball, and football grounds are all available on campus. Areas of Improvement: However, the campus life could be more dynamic. The social and cultural events could be more frequent throughout the year rather than concentrated around one fest. Some hostel facilities also need better upkeep and modernization.
