Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate has passed the Second year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Karnataka State Pre-University Board with Science Subjects.

10 + 2 of the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) / ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education)
Any other equivalent examination recognized by the University.

Eligibility:

The candidate should have secured an aggregate of 45% with Physics & Mathematics as a Parth of the subjects, along with one of the following subjects:-

Chemistry
Biotechnology
Computer Science
Biology & Electronics

Eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC are 40% in optional subjects. The candidate must have appeared and cleared English as one of the subjects.

Admission to Second Year (Lateral Entry):

Diploma or equivalent degree holders can apply for admission in the second year provided that they must have secured 50% in their final year examination. For SC/ST and OBC, the criteria are 45%. If the candidate has secured less than the eligibility, they must clear the bridge courses as specified by Bangalore University.

Admission Details

Admission to the first-year B.E. course in Vemana Institute of Technology is available for candidates through CET/COMED-K and Management Quota as per the norms specified by the Government of Karnataka and VTU from time to time.

As an ECE student, I spent a lot of time in a specialised laboratories like in the real VLSI design and Digital signal processing lab industry software and hardware tools, spacious and ITC enabled and five Urban campus featuring a massive Centre library with extensive digital database campus has decent reliable Wi-Fi connectivity

The campus in Koramangala is relatively small , span ain’t about 5 acres , which limits large sports grounds , but it is highly functional .For ECE , the core facilities and dependable . The digital signal processing ,VLSI design and communication labs are equipped with necessary kits and software.

Pursuing being electronics and communication engineering at Vemana Institute of technology, I feel the college of a supportive environment for both academic and personal growth. Infrastructure is quite satisfactory with spacious classroom. Well maintained laboratories, a good library, seminar hall and Wi-Fi connect connectivity that help students during practical project work, the campus is clean, peaceful, and suitable for focus learning.
