The infrastructure of Patna Women’s College is really worthy of appreciation. All the classrooms are big, ventilated, and it seems that they take care of them regularly. The labs — mainly the computer labs for BBA projects are well-organized and up-to-date with all the necessary systems.
Academics
The teaching methods employed are presentations, group discussions, case studies, and conventional lectures of the classroom. Regular tests and quizzes keep the students informed of their learning level. Industry exposure is facilitated through seminars, invited lectures, and fieldwork every semester.

About 60–65% of the students who are actively involved in the placement process get the selection. For the commerce and management section, the highest package this year was around 5 LPA, while most of the offers were between 2 and 3 LPA.

Infrastructure is not so great, but works okay for a two-hundred-year old University. Spaces are sometimes hygienic, seldom clean. Sweepers not available at all times. Although labs and sports center are available, sports center are not maintained. Although they have real good sportspersons, some even win nations.

Teachers focus more on students' private life. Don't focus on competitive exams, later taunt students when they don't get in to other universities for higher education. Study is not at all related to what is needed for higher education. Syllabus and completion don't fit in the same sentence. Syllabus is never over, if ever over, students are not clear about forming answers.
Placements
The placement cell only ever gives good placement to the ones that are performing well in the university, or their face is plastered on every other thing in the university. Other students, who are average and look forward to a good placement, are left to fend for themselves via out campus placements, or traveling to other cities to sit through the interviews. Also average package is good, but only if a single person is to provide for themselves.
Campus Life
People here are from economically and socially backward societies, like some remote villages and places. So the mindset really doesn't sit right with some people, they are still stuck to their old ways of doing and thinking stuff. It is especially tricky to reason with such people as we are all grown ups and somethings must come naturally. The campus can certainly handle emergencies since we have had two cases of loose motion and vomiting in 2 boys hostels and they were rushed to the hospital. The best feature is certainly the E-resource, provided with proper lighting and ACs.
