I completed my diploma in 2020. At that time, there were no placements at all, even though I secured the highest marks in my batch. Still, there was no placement support provided to me. Recently, I've heard that there are a few placements in the college but I'm not sure about this.

To be honest, Placements are zero at IGNOU. Do not join this college if you have any expectations of placement. Forget about placements, You will hardly get a job if you have your studies done from IGNOU. The open colleges are good only when you want to focus on any competitive exam or some other goal, You can get a graduation degree without attending classes regularly. But, An IGNOU degree alone is almost useless for getting a job.
