The campus at MPKV Rahuri is big and nice with lots of green fields for experiments. They got labs for soil and plants but some equipments are old and not always working good. Library is big with many books but no wifi in classes. Sports ground is there and gym too but washrooms need better cleaning. Hostel is okay affordable but mess food is average. Overall its good for agri studies.
Academics
Teachers here are mostly helpful and know their stuff about farming. Curriculum covers 8 semesters with practicals like crop growing and pest control. We do hands on work in fields which helps learn real. But some courses are outdated like old pesticides. Exams are every few months moderate tough. Not enough profs sometimes due to vacancies but still we get good knowledge for bsc agri hons.
Placements
Placements are not great but some companies come like Bayer and ITC for sales jobs. Around 60-70% get placed with packages from 2.5 to 7 lpa average 4 lpa. Many go for pg or govt exams instead. Placement cell helps with internships at syngenta or upl. For freshers its okay but need more companies visiting campus. Banks also hire for agri officers.

Campus is beautiful with big area and trees feels peaceful. Sports like cricket and events happen often. Cultural programs and dances are fun. Friends from different places make it lively. No ragging issues and safe for girls. Canteen food okay but we hangout there. Weekends we visit nearby rahuri town. Overall enjoyable life here.

Hostels are affordable and security is also good here. Food in the mess is good and canteens are also available on campus. Medical facility is available 24 hours on campus.

There are 60 students in one batch and 2 batches sit together in a class, so a total of around 120 students sit in a single classroom. Some faculty members are really good, whereas some just care about coming to the class. Continuous quizzes and vivas take place, but there is a mid-semester examination and end-semester examination in one semester. Attendance criteria are very strict and students are not allowed to appear for the examination if they don't meet the requirements. Passing percentage is 60%.

Placements are average in our college. Last year, around 60% of students were placed from our course. Internships are also provided in the last year of the course. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Interglobe Aviation, Being, etc.

About 65% of students get placed in different companies. The highest package is 21 LPA, but in our department, the highest package offered is 7 LPA. TCS is the top recruiter of our college. Infosys and HCL are minor recruiters.
