No placements yet. I'm in my bsc (4th year) We were 140 students, I'm in my 4th year and every semester I have to pay 18,000 fee. I'm still a student. And have to pay 10,000 as hostel fee also. There is no placements, we have to get internships on our own.

Well, there is canteen and hostels and good infrastructure. And yes teachers are also supportive, we have to do a lot of practical work. We have to go for rawe weekly.

The infrastructure for academics is alright but the classrooms don’t fit our whole batch. The projectors don’t work in any classroom and the screen only works in one. The library is good and has adequate supply of books on agriculture and they’re pretty receptive to feedback. There’s not much scope for sports throughout the year (only one sports week in a year) and there’s no set structure for sports especially for girls. The girls gym is non-functional and none of the machines work.

I am studying Bachelors in Agriculture and the quality of teaching here is sub-par. There are only a handful of teachers that have any interest in teaching, the rest of them are apathetic. All some teachers do is put on a slideshow and read the slides. But i would say that some teachers are genuinely interested in helping you and they go out of their way to try and guide you, but those are few in number. I would say the curriculum is well-updated, but no, it doesn’t make me job ready.
Placements
There’s no placements at my college (that I know of). I don’t see any students (in the senior batch) that were placed, everyone is either preparing for a competitive exam or is pursuing higher studies. There was no placements drives here and definitely no interviews (for undergraduates). There’s not much scope internship opportunities provided by the college either.
Campus Life
The best features are my friends and the rural setting of the college, the campus is pretty and full of nature and scenic places. The worst features is the misogynistic nature of the college, there are so many unnecessary restrictions for girls such as mandatory permission to even go home (only for girls) or even to the next town, you have to take permission from 3 separate people and a lot of times they aren’t available so you have to jump through so many hoops to even go home. as a woman, your matters are looked into in a very authoritative way, you are not treated like the adult you are but as a child that has no rights. to even go out of their main gate, even to the shop, you have to mark your attendance (out-time and in-time) which boys don’t have to do. hostel for girls closes at 5:45 in the evening but there’s no stipulated timing for the boys.
