If we talk about placement this college not have good placement record their is placement cell exist but they have to focus on only professional courses like MBA, BBA etc.they have very limited opportunity for campus placement.

Teachers are helpful. All teachers are qualified with high degrees. Their manner of behavior with students is good because we understand their words. I think teachers can come in a good factor of college and university director is thinking about college.
Placements
70-80% of students get placed every year. Its ratio decreased because students did not concentrate on their studies properly. In the CSE course, companies also visited our campus. The highest package offered is 27 LPA for a senior placed, but I do not know the name.

Various facilities are provided throughout the course, like a lab for each core subject with experienced professors. We do have a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, and the speed is also good. The library is a peaceful and cozy place to study, while the classroom conditions are average, not as good. Hostel rooms are okayish but still not up to par, and the mess food is average.

All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the professors are IITians. Some teachers are not as good at teaching, but some are very awesome. The course curriculum is still old school, but for the core part, it will make you industry-ready.

This year, in 2025, the placement percentage of the mechanical department is 102 percent. The highest offer is 12.5 LPA, while the average is about 7.5 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA in the mechanical department. Mostly companies related to core mechanical, like Renault, L&T, and Ambuja, participated in the placements

Almost 95% of civil students get placed every year, with salary packages ranging from about 5 to 18 LPA. Companies like L&T, Tata Steel, Shapoorji Pallonji, and NTPC regularly hire from here, and around 40–45% of students also get internships at big companies like Tata Steel, Amazon, and Flipkart.

Our college atmosphere is good. Placement of our college is number one. Around 70% of students got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA from the college placement drive. RHI, Cisco, and many companies have visited.

Our campus is completely green and joyful, with good infrastructure and full Wi-Fi coverage. The labs are good, and we have smart classrooms and a digital library. They provide hostel facilities with minimum fees, good quality food available in the canteen, and medical facilities, among other amenities.

Our faculty members are well-educated, and the relationship between students and faculty is friendly; they always help the students. The lab facilities are very good. The university conducts four class assignment exams, each worth 25 marks, and the average of these CA marks can be added to the semester exam marks.

This college is good for IT students; many of them get placed in reputable companies. They provide average placements in other core branches. Many reputed companies come to our college, like WIPRO, IBM, Q-Spider, and INFOSYS. The highest package is 7.12 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA.

My college was established in 1960. Our campus has about 300 acres of land. Infrastructure is good. Hostel and college lecture halls are well-equipped and maintained. In hostels, we face Wi-Fi issues frequently but after many complaints, it has improved. Now, food quality in the mess is pretty decent.
Academics
Teachers are really well qualified, educated, and helpful as well. Their quality of teaching is excellent. Besides course curriculum, we have to study for ourselves to get industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult. Me as well as my friends study a week before the exams.
Placements
Last year approximately 60-95% of students were placed in the mechanical branch. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary is 4-7 LPA. The average package offered by this college is 5.4 LPA. In a batch of 106 students, 25 students got internships. Top roles include product manager, etc.

I like to share about the academics of Government College of Engineering, Bargur. That the quality of teaching is ok but the most important thing is be ready to start self learning or self studying. The curriculum is not updated, old syllabus is followed.

Because of Government College of Engineering, the placement opportunities can be good. The quality of placements and the percentage of students were placed is average. My course is mechanical engineering, for my course there is low salary package.
