Degree wise Admission Process
BA: The Bachelor of Arts program at Shitala Prasad Mahavidyalaya imparts education in different fields of humanities and social sciences. The admission process for BA is merit-based and considers the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent). This program covers an intake of 400 seats and is, therefore, the largest course offered by the institution.
B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education program prepares students for a career in teaching. Admission to the B.Ed program is based on merit, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as per the policy of the state government and the university. The college offers 100 seats for this program, and the course fee is approximately Rs 81,250.
D.El.Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education program prepares students to teach in primary schools. The admission process for D.El.Ed is identical to that of B.Ed, based on merit determined by qualifying examination marks and any entrance examination mandated by the state government. The program has an intake of 100 seats, with a course fee of around Rs 82,000.
