Shri Ram T.T. College, Sikar and today it is one of the renowned teacher training institutions of Rajasthan. The college is affiliated to the NCTE for the quality standards for teacher education imparted by this college. Initially, the college designed its admission procedure for reasonable candidates who would like to study in the Bachelor of Education program, as this is the main program being given by the college. The admission procedures are based on the guidelines provided by the state government or UT administration and its affiliated university. 

Primarily merit is the foremost criterion for identifying the students, which is determined based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination or entrance test conducted by the institution. B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): This is a whole-time program at Shri Ram T.T. College for a period of 2 years that prepares students to take up careers in teaching. The college has an approved intake of 100 seats for this program. This is how the admissions of the B.Ed course work:

1. Eligibility: Candidates who have done graduation/postgraduation from a university recognized by UGC are eligible. Subject specific requirements will apply as per NCTE norms.

2. Selection Process: Admission will be based on merit determined by :

• Marks obtained in the qualifying examination-graduation/post-graduation
• Performance in an entrance examination (if conducted by the state or affiliated university)
• Any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/UT Administration and the university

3. Merit List: Based on the qualifying examination and/or entrance test, a merit list will be prepared.

4. Counselling: Elites qualified in the merit list may be called for counselling during which they will choose their seats on the basis of merit rank.
