The University of Calcutta has released the admit card for CU BA LLB 2023  on August 1, 2023. The exam for CU BA LLB 2023 is  scheduled  to be held on August 6, 2023. The last date for Calcutta University BA LLB application form submission was July 23, 2023. The Calcutta University entrance exam 2023 will be held in online mode. Calcutta University provides PG admission to MA, M.Com, M.Sc programmes in Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, and Education based on the result of the entrance exams.

About Calcutta University BA LLB Entrance Exam 2023

The entrance exam will be held for a duration of two hours. There will be a total of 100 questions in the Calcutta University BA LLB entrance exam. These questions will be asked on the following topics.

• General English
• General Knowledge
• General Reasoning
• Current Affairs

Post the completion of the exam, Calcutta University will announce the results and merit lists. Candidates included in the merit list will be eligible to appear for counselling and seat allotment. The Calcutta University BA LLB entrance exam scores will be accepted by the Department of Law, University of Calcutta and 12 other affiliated law schools.

The University of Calcutta will close the payment portal for admission entrance fees for courses such as M.A./ M.Sc/ M.Com . The CU will publish the CU PG draft lists 2023 on September 28 for both Part A and Part B. The CU provisional merit list PG 2023 for Part A will be published after the preliminary corrections on October 1. The CU PG 2023 1st selction list will be issued on September 3 for Part A candidates. The CU PG 1st selection list 2023 can be checked by the candidates in online mode. The university will issue the CU PG 2023 entrance test dates will be notified by the university.

Calcutta University Entrance Exam B.A. L.L.B Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for admission to BA LLB Degree programme offered by Calcutta University will be required to meet the following eligibility

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from the Board recognized by Calcutta University.
• Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (for General category) in class 12 or 40% marks (for SC/ST/PWD category) in the best four subjects excluding Environmental Studies of WBCHSE.
• Candidates passed from boards other than WBCHSE, ISC, CBSE and Rabindra Mukto Vidyalay must obtain an "Equivalence Certificate" from the Registrar's Office, University of Calcutta. The "Equivalence Certificate" will be required at the time of admission.
• Foreign candidates will be required to provide all their degrees along with the mark sheets of their previous institute to the University which will be verified after which they will be called for the Interview.

Students appearing for the entrance examination are required to meet the Calcutta University M.Com eligibility criteria 2023. Candidates who are eligible will only be able to apply for the Calcutta University entrance examination. • Calcutta University candidates currently in their last year of three years B. Sc (Hons.) degree course and candidates who have successfully completed their B. Sc (Hons.) degree in the previous year can apply
• Candidates with B. Sc (Hons.) degree from other university or Insitute can also apply
• Candidates currently pursuing the major course or the candidates who have graduated from the University other than Calcutta University will also be eligible to apply. The University of Calcutta will close the CU PG 2023 application form on September 27. The Calcutta University started the CU PG application 2023 for courses such as M.A./M.Sc/ M.Com on September 1. Candidates can make corrections to their CU PG 2023 application form within the scheduled time, from September 1 to September 27.
