THE PREVIOUS YEAR CLOSING RANK IS :

IIT ROORKIE - 12016

IIT KHARAGPUR - 12216

And being the matter fact closing ranks don' t deviate much. So you have tough chances to get into these colleges.

See buddy that completely depends on you. There ate students who just got 2-5 Lpa package and also who got 10-12 LPA. Everything depends on your interest. But yeah generally to be honest placement is not so good of arch as compared to other core branch students. Never loose hope. Good luck.

Hi Dhwaj,

The closing rank of B.Arch course in IIT Kharagpur last year was 12216.

The closing rank of B.Arch course in IIT Roorkee last year was 12016.

Closing ranks don't deviate much. So, if you're from general category then you won't get B.Arch in IIT

Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur.

But if you see 2017 cutoff, it the closing rank is 14,000 something, and in year 2016 it is something sround 10,000 then what can i expect, I an confussed please HELP!!!!!!

I hope you remember, there will be 10% reservation for EWS candidates. But this doesnt mean that you don't apply, keep your hopes high. You might just get it.
