This year, MNNIT Placement witnessed an increment of 10% in average salary offered to its students which is 7.82 LPA in 2019 compared to 7.2 LPA last year. Programmes in BTech Chemical Engineering and Production and Industrial Engineering witnessed 100% placement of its batch with highest CTC of 17.3 LPA and 16.17 LPA offered respectively. The highest CTC within all programmes was 36 LPA this year, bagged by the students of BTech CS and IT streams each.
An increase in the average salary offered has been noted in the year 2019 from 2018 at nit jaipur. The highest CTC offered for the placement session 2018-2019 decreased to 37 LPA from 40 LPA in 2017-2018. As an overall, the total no. of students placed in the session 2018-2019 incread to 505 from 431 last year.
NIT Kurukshetra has good placements with companies like Amazon, Nestle, Bharat Petroleum, Honda, Coca Cola, Indian Oil, Mahindra, Nest, Ford, Hero, Flipkart and Microsoft visiting the campus. In the last couple of years, almost80-90%of the students were placed in top firms. Many students opt for higher studies. The average salary hovers around8.24 LPAin the UG batch and4.75 LPAin the PG batch.
