Admission in Msc Mathematices is based on Joint admission test.Candidates (General and OBC non creamy layer)who have cleared their graduation with at least 55% aggregate marks in relevant subject areas are eligible to appear for IIT JAM exam and Candidates (SC ST)who have cleared their graduation with at least 50% aggregate marks in relevant subject areas are eligible to appear for IIT JAM exam.

See the score u have got in the GATE entrance exam is enough for u to get admissioned in the good NITs for pursuing ur higher studies in the field of ur interest. But getting IITs  might be difficult in this marks.
