According to me you will not be vale to fetch iiit delhi with the percentage score of 96 in jee mains .
Last year the closing rank for other state was 5400 and for home state it was around 17000 so I don't think that in either case , you will get a seat in iiit,delhi.

It is quite difficult to get admission in IIIT DELHI. Your rank is quite high to procure seat in this college.
But you can try for other good state government colleges, you can easily get admission in good government colleges.
