EIC: Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering
ECE: Electronics and Communication Engineering
Both the branches are daughter branches of Electrical Engineering. In EE we deal with higher voltage and power applications while in ECE we deal at lower voltages and Communication systems like wired/wireless communications. EIC is the mixture of EE and ECE, here we deal with both higher and lower voltages to make and control any electrical/electronic system in order to get desired output, but there is no communication systems here.

In EIE you study more about instrumentation and process control whereas ECE is more about communication. ECE students can also get recruited in software companies but EIE has lesser chances. Software Companies prefer more ECE as they have good knowledge of electronic components and communication system.

EIE is a semi industrial branch. After the course students get chances in industries as well as in IT companies. Both ECE and EIE candidates get equal chances in IT firms. IT checks their programming skills and problem solving skills. Both are good branches but EIE get more chances in industries where ECE candidates are less preferred. Also, ece gives you opportunity to join civil services after graduation (IAS/IPS/AIRFORCE/IRS/IFS etc)
