Amity University, Kolkata was established in 2015 after the Legislative Assembly of West Bengal in 2014 passed the Amity University Act, 2014 (West Bengal Act, XXIV of 2014). Amity University, Kolkata offers scholarships to deserving students who are good in their academics. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria have been awarded Amity University, Kolkata scholarships. To be eligible for Amity University Kolkata scholarships, the aggregate percentage of candidates will be calculated based on marks obtained in English and three academic subjects (compulsorily including subjects of eligibility and excluding Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts or any Vocational/Non-Written subjects). There are only limited scholarships seats available for students which will be offered after joining the programme.
