Academics
The course that I have chosen is BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. I chose this course because I am passionate about this course and I want to gain more knowledge about Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and many others. The eligibility criteria are that the students must have passed tier 10+2 with 60%. The admission process is simple form and appear for the interview. There will be 2 internal exams and one external exam. overall, the academics of this University are average.
College Infra
The campus of this University is not that huge. It spread over 10 acers of land. There are two academic blocks such as A and E block. The campus is located at the outer area of Kolkata. The classrooms are good. The campus is fully air conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled. The campus has library consists of 10,000+ books, different type of labs such as Matlab, seminar hall, auditorium, conference halls, etc. There are 2 canteens present at the campus which serves good quality of food to the students. The campus has various departmental labs.
Campus Life
My campus life at this university is good till now. It is so interesting. The campus is not much crowded. There are many clubs present at the campus around 12 to 15 clubs. The university conducts several types of events and fests for the students. It also celebrated various festivals such as Navratri etc. The university also invites Bollywood celebrities to perform at the fests. Overall, my campus life at Amity University Kolkata is above average.
Placements
Yes, there is a placement at the university campus. It conducts placement related activities and programs for the students. Many companies visit the campus to hire the students. The seniors told me that the companies offer good packages to the students. Approx 40 percent student gets placement every year. The highest package offered by the company is 28LPA and the average package offered is 5-6LPA in BTech CSE department. Yes, college is supportive in cracking the placement, it conducts the placement workshop and seminars for better placement from 3rd year.
Value For Money
Yes, I can say that the college is value-for-money. Because it offers good placement offers and also have a good learning environment and coding environment. The total tuition fee of my college is approximately 12,50,000(excluding hostel). Yes, I feel that college provide the good environment to study and level up our skills, by using these facilities we can get the dream job as we want, We just need to focus on developing our skills, which will surely help us in future.

Placement support is robust for technical and management streams with top recruiters including amazon, Deloitte etc the highest package is 32.5 lakh per anum with an average between inr 4to 7 lakh per anum

Hey there,
Both Manipal University and Amity University are good choices for an MCA. They differ, however, in focus as well as in the mode of learning.
Manipal University has made a name for itself with its excellent academic standards, NAAC A++ accreditation, and lovely campus facilities. It provides on-campus as well as online MCA degrees with the option to specialize in AI, ML, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Computing, along with a comprehensive study. The company hiring drives are excellent, with several top IT companies visiting the campus regularly. It is advisable to opt for this university if you are looking for a systematic, research-based, and industry-oriented program.
Comparatively, Amity University also offers MCA in both on-campus and online modes. The course is designed to provide flexibility to the learner. It is recognized by UGC and focuses on the latest tech fields like Blockchain, AI, and Data Science. What makes Amity strong is its large network, specifically designed courses, and support for placement, although its reputation fluctuates slightly from campus to campus.
The path to the choice is quite simple. If a reputed and research-driven environment is what you are looking for, you should definitely go for Manipal. However, if flexibility and getting your hands on the latest tech field are your priority, then Amity is a wonderful option to consider.

Im currently in my masters 3rd semester in amity university kolkata and would like to change my campus to noida as there is the same course in noida. Is there any possibilities of changing campus?

Campus transfer is sometimes possible, but only if seats are available.
You need to get approval from both campuses (HOD, Dean, Admissions).
Submit a formal request through Amizone or your student portal.
Make sure your academic record is good and the syllabus matches.
Contact the admissions office soon to know the exact procedure and deadline.
See if Amity has a formal policy for transferring between its campuses for the same course. Sometimes this is called “campus change” or “lateral admission” to another campus.
