Amity had a good infrastructure and all the basic amenities were there. The college has several beautiful buildings and several canteens for accommodating the students at the same time. The college also had a coffee cafe day in the campus.
I was studying BBA LLB in college and the teaching was good. the methodology and pedagogy were good. there are several programs which were provided by the college. The course were all approved by BCI and were up to date with case-based teaching.
Placement was not great and not many recruiters visited the college. Top students were placed in firms and it did not have cent percent placement. There is a dedicated team working for improvement of the same.
The college has all necessary infrastructure and facilities, they also have ccd inside the campus, they have well furnished and comfort hostels as well. The college have proper wifi, ac, smart boards, wifi, libraries, etc
I was there for my graduation,Completed my BBA. The faculties are very nice and cooperative. They make sure they include all real time knowledge sharing into the syllabus and they also take you for industrial visits.
The placement they provide are quite average depending on the students as well. But surely you will leave the campus with good amount of knowledge. The average package offered was I guess 12L p.a. The placement process was a bit hectic though.
My course was almost 2L per sem, and I feel yes it was worth spending for. With the given faculties and their knowledge it was easy for us to understand the concepts and apply things in real world. I am really great full to the college.
The college celebrates various festivals, Events and and very fun environment
Amity University Kolkata is a well-rounded institution for students who want to pursue quality education and experience. It has a dynamic environment that provides an excellent platform for students to pursue their academic and career aspirations. Having a diverse student body provides rich learning experience and exposure to different cultures.
The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive and approachable. They encourage students to explore their interests and develop critical thinking skills. The university also has a well-structures curriculum that integrates theory with practical learning including internships and industry collaborations.
The university has a dedicated placement cell that works towards providing job opportunities to the students. It has a good track record of placements. The cell invites reputed companies from various sectors to participate in the recruitment process. Many students are getting placed in top companies with good packages. Although, this may vary depending on the course and the branch.
Being a private university, the fee structure can be relatively higher as compared to other universities. But it offers a wide range of courses across various fields with well-equipped library, modern labs, and other facilities. The university has a good reputation for providing quality education.
It has a vibrant campus life with various clubs promoting activities and events. This helps in overall development of the students and enriching the student body with various facts about different cultures. A well-equipped sports complex offers indoor and outdoor sports activities. The environment inside the campus has a calm presence on its own. The university provides hostel accommodation for both male and female students having hygienic spaces and nutritious fod for the students.
College infrastructure is amazing along with many amenities. It has all the necessary equipments and facilities required for the course. It also has an amazing campus and all the facilities for curriculum activities and great exposure.
Faculties are really good and from the industry itself with years of experience. Thus it becomes easy to know about the industry and get insights. Professors are really well knowledged and have a good depth in the field.
Placements are mostly from the retail sector. Good brands with good packages. But there is almost zero placement from the designing field. Also placement ratio is very less. As only 30% students got placed.
It was good overall. Because other private colleges costs much more for fashion designing course. So compared to that it is good but not great. Per year course was almost 1 lakh.
Campus life is excellent. It was more of like a 5 star hotel than college. Campus life was happening and full of fun with numerous amount of events and activities along with fests. Amazing library, amazing sports Complex and what not.
Overall it was good with mixed experience.
Amity university kolkata has most of the facilities that is much needed in an University campus . And it is one of the most attractive campus from the exterior and the interior as well .the classrooms are air-conditioned and are well lit, perfect for the students to focus in class. We are fond of our campus. And the facilities they offer in terms of labs and equipments needed.
College academics is apt with sound knowledge delivery and we'll equipped lab equipments updated every year. All in all it is a great experience studying and being part of such an esteemed University of kolkata.
Placement cell is nice and helpful, with companies all over india coming for recruitment and providing an average package of 6-7 lakhs per annum which is good for a start so yes the placement cell is nice enough too.
The campus is huge and has lots of facilities available. The college has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments required. College also provides us with wifi service. The overall campus has everything a student needs
Most of the teachers that teach us are highly qualified. They teach us with utmost importance and patience. But due to the online situation not all the teachers are able to give their 100% but for now they teach really well
I have heard the college gives good placements, I'm yet to graduate to fully agree to it. But most the seniors I have known have gotten placements at well off companies with the salary package quite decent and fair.
Amity is quite an expensive private university. The fees I'm paying for my course is a value for the education I'm getting. But the online situation isn't allowing us to use labs and classrooms the facilities we also pay for.
Haven't experienced the campus life yet, as everything is online. But the college provides us with alot of options to showcase our talents not just in academics. Most of the teachers are really friendly and helpful.
Overall yes, Amity is a global university so there are advantages of taking admission in one. Since due to covid I haven't been able to visit my college or attend classes from my college my knowledge about Amity is still less than what it would have been if I attended college offline.

Teachers can guide through the best . Teachers here are surely the best aid all throughout.be it curricular activities or academics the teachers have been our best support system and have always wanted us to be a part of every event happening in the college.
Not very sure about placements as yet. Haven't had a chance to reach the placement section yet. I am still a year behind my final graduation and being a part of the covid situation ,have been home throughout my internship days, hence cannot talk about placements yet.
Tution fees might be a bit higher than others
Amazing campus life
College infrastructure is good enough with proper hygeine maintainance and all facilities available. All in all it has been a nice experience and teachers are apt and knowledgeable too. It is the center of biotechnology in this region.

I didn’t go to college due to corona but I have heard it from seniors that it has an out of the box infrastructure I am hoping of having a good life in college when it reopens . So let’s hope for the best
Teachers a passionate about their students career . Teachers are very approachable and we can easily connect with them regarding our doubts. They are more than than happy to share their knowledge with us.overall amazing
Being a first year student, all I can say is I have heard from seniors that amity Kolkata provides some good options of firms and advocates even they give chance in different courts. So I feel is that students of amity have a good placement
The college infrastructure is outstanding which you can tell by the looks of it. It consists of a library,an auditorium, cafeteria, research labs, seminar halls and an atrium. The Academic block consists of three wings and has more than 100 classrooms. It also has a hostel block for both girls and boys separately. Amity has wireless broadband internet connectivity. All of it is used and maintained very well. The campus is eco-friendly.
I am currently pursuing BSc(H) Biotechnology and I would say the quality of teaching is excellent under my departmental teachers. In this pandemic, they are doing their very best to make us understand in the simplest way possible. We are introduced to the core subjects from the very beginning. They are partly what we studied in our high school but in a more detailed manner. We are being prepared in such a way that by the end of our three years, we are ready to face the job iinterview.
Most of the seniors got placements in good companies. Various companies visit the college throughout the year and most of the students get placements. The selection is made on basis of interviews. The highest salary goes upto 18 LPA and the average salary is around 4-5 LPA. Many students go for further for their higher studies.
The cost per year is around 1 lakh but if you are a scholarship student then your fee will be much reduced in the first year. And if you continue to rank in the top 10, then the scholarship will be maintained. According to me, it is worth the money.
In this pandemic situation, I did not get the opportunity to enjoy my college life but I am looking forward to it.
