The Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree is designed to provide students with a wide range of managerial skills, while at the same time building competence in a particular area of business.

In response to the issuance of the new set of Accounting and Reporting Standards set out by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, BML Munjal University has revamped the B.Com Hons programme.

The Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) at BMU focuses on the factors that drive economic behaviour at both an individual and organisational level. The B.Com course will equip you with the analytical, communication and problem-solving skills to effectively identify issues, source information and find efficient and practical solutions.

The B.Com (Hons.) programme offers super specialization in below tracks: BlockChain & Financial Technologies, Forensic Accounting & Fraud, Banking & Insurance, and Derivative & Risk Management

The School of Commerce has a multi-dimensional selection process for assessing an applicant’s suitability for the B.Com (Hons) programme. Selection to the programme will be made on the basis of several criteria. Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence are rapidly transforming the Banking, finance and Insurance sectors and are becoming major disruptors. The World Economic Forum report has predicted that by 2025, 10% of the global GDP will be stored in Blockchain and related technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants appearing for their class XII examinations from any of the following boards:

Andhra Pradesh State Board
Telangana State Board
Tamil Nadu State Board
Kerala State Board

Are required to have a minimum score of 70% in 3 core subjects their class XII final board examinations

Applicants from all other Indian boards recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) are required to have a minimum score of 60% in 3 core subjects their class XII final board examinations. . (This covers CBSE, ISC, ICSE and State Boards recognized by AIU)
Cambridge/IGCSE board students are required to have 3 A-levels
As per the AIU’s current guidelines, all IB Diploma and IB Certificate students with 24 points with 3 subjects at HL and 3 subjects at SL are welcome to apply for the undergraduate courses at BML Munjal University
If you have taken the SAT or ACT exams, submitting those scores to BML Munjal University will enhance your chances to selection. Our DI Code for SAT applicants is – 7534. All applicants applying with SAT/ ACT scores need to send us their official score reports.
Applicants who are Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Residential Indians (NRIs)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) must have passed the qualifying examination, i.e. Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent from any system of education as recognised the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and must submit their SAT score.

Admission Details

Applicants will have to go through the following process:

All applicants are required to submit the completed application form with all relevant enclosures including proof of payment of the application fee
BMU will review applications and short-list candidates for the interview
All shortlisted candidates appear for a personal interview
The BMU selection committee processes the final admission decisions.

College Infrastructure

My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities are highly educated and professional. Labs have all the necessary equipments. Campus is neat, clean and hygienic. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Canteens are hygienic and provide healthy food.

College Infrastructure

The college campus is spread in 50 acres. The classrooms are designed with technologies like projectors. The college has all the residential programmes, so it is compulsory to live in hostels. Hostels are clean and hygeinic but mess food is average. There are other facilities available on campus like medical facilities, atm etc.
